I am very disappointed with my experience. She did not properly listen to my concerns and did not examine my skin carefully. She quickly suggested micropeeling without understanding my situation. I clearly explained that I work in a marine environment and cannot properly care for my skin during the healing period after such a procedure. Despite this, she continued to insist on micropeeling and even suggested I visit her private clinic for treatment. After I refused, she wrote a prescription without properly assessing my skin. I followed the prescribed treatment for one month, and my skin became much worse. I developed many painful pimples, and my overall skin condition was damaged. Later, I researched the products and found that they may not have been suitable for my skin type. This has been a very upsetting experience for me, and I feel very sad because my skin has worsened and recovery will take time. She is the worst Dermatologist in Sri Lanka
She does not listen to the patient. She just gives a single glance, listens for about 10 seconds, and starts writing the prescription. The consultation literally lasts less than two minutes, and she shoos us off without letting us discuss the issue. Also, she does not like to hear that her previous prescriptions didn’t work. According to her, it’s our fault for “not using the products correctly.” And whenever we say we tried something that didn’t work, she takes it as a personal insult and blames us for even trying those products, like, what, another doctor prescribed them. Even more frustratingly, she prescribes the most expensive products available at whatever private hospital the consultation is held in. Why would you prescribe a pill that’s four times cheaper elsewhere? It feels a bit too obvious, patients do notice.
