“I am forever grateful to Dr. Dilshan for saving my life during one of the most difficult times I have ever faced. When I was critically ill with dengue, Dr. Dilshan treated me with exceptional skill, dedication, and compassion. Throughout my treatment, he remained calm, attentive, and supportive, giving both me and my family hope during a frightening time. His professionalism and genuine care made a huge difference in my recovery. Thank you, Dr. Dilshan, for your commitment to your patients and for giving me a second chance at life. I will always remember your kindness and highly recommend you to anyone looking for an outstanding and compassionate doctor.”

“Had gyno surgery from,He dismissed my concerns about scars. Stitches came off too early giving me permanent keloid scars. On top of that the gland from one side wasn't removed properly and it grew back.Other side still gives me pain. Stay away from this money hungry devil unless u want permanent regrets and pain.”
“I was disappointed with my experience with Dr. Hiran Amarasekara. Before performing PRP injections in both of my knees, I was not informed that I could experience significant pain and difficulty walking for the first few days after the procedure. If I had known, I would have arranged help at home and planned my schedule accordingly. While the procedure itself may have been appropriate, I believe patients should receive clear information about the expected recovery, possible side effects, activity restrictions, and aftercare before treatment so they can give fully informed consent. Better communication would have made this experience much less stressful.”
“Genuinely wondering why her license hasn't been taken away from her because she uses her title so wrongly and messes with patient's body and babies too, very unprofessional and does insane amounts of medical malpractice, gave DANGEROUS medicine to my mother and did labor on my sister in a dangerously unethical way and acted like she did nothing wrong, I genuinely hope her license gets taken away for the amount of malpractice she does so that she can do everything all at once in her "schedule"”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Rohan Sirisena for the exceptional care he provided to my wife during her appendicitis surgery. From our very first consultation, Dr. Sirisena was kind, approachable, and highly professional. He took the time to explain my wife's condition, the surgical procedure, and the recovery process in a clear and reassuring manner. His expertise and calm approach gave our family complete confidence during a very stressful time. The surgery was successful, and thanks to his outstanding skill and dedication, my wife is recovering very well. Throughout our hospital stay, he treated us with genuine compassion, respect, and patience, always making sure our concerns were addressed. Dr. Rohan Sirisena is an exceptional surgeon who combines remarkable medical expertise with genuine care for his patients. We are deeply grateful for everything he has done for our family and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy general surgeon. Thank you, Dr. Rohan Sirisena, for your dedication and outstanding patient care.”
“I went to this idiot at Lanka Hospitals. I went for an ENT concern that is so severe that it impacted my mental health ( I could barely breathe or smell). He gave me meds without even checking or talking to me properly, claimed I have polyps and allergic rhinitis. Went after two weeks, he asked if the medicine worked. I said no I can still barely breathe (if anything I felt like my symptoms had worsened) and I didn't feel much relief. I also asked him how I've never had allergies before so why the sudden flare up. I genuinely wanted to understand to see if I could make any lifestyle changes. This unhinged man started screaming in my face claiming I was lying about the medicine and that he can SEE that the polyps are reduced and I have to accept that I have allergies and I have always had allergies since birth and I will have to be medicated for the rest of my life just like he has and proceeded to prescribe allergy medications. I was so shocked at the lack of professionalism that I just left without saying much or buying his stupid medicine and I continue to suffer after wasting close to 10k on a doctor who' has serious ego issues and is only there for the money and had to send all that money just to not be treated AND get humiliated infront of all the nurses and other patients (the door was ajar). I hope this guy has a miserable life”
“Channelled this doctor to get some advice and medications for an addiction of my father. First day he gave some medicine. But we found out that the addiction is still there. Then we channelled him again and at that time he consulted the father alone. Then he asked us to come to the room and said that let him to live like that. Eventually he will get rid of it. But the thing is it won't happen for sure and we are suffering with it for past 25 years (we know our father very well). So as a consultant, he was not consulted the case with an open mind and finally what happened was we, the victims of our fathers behavior became accused people. So as a psychiatrist, he does not possesses the qualities of diagnosing the case properly and utterly disappointed with his consultancy. Total waste of channelling fee.”
“We visited Dr. Himali at Ave Maria Hospital, Negombo, during the 11:30 a.m. session with our one day old newborn baby. We sought medical advice because our baby had a fever, cried continuously after feeding, and seemed very uncomfortable. At the beginning of the consultation, the doctor asked which hospital had discharged our baby and told us that we should consult the doctor from that hospital instead. We then explained our baby’s symptoms and our concerns. Unfortunately, we found the doctor’s communication to be rude and dismissive. She said, “හලෝ, මේ මේ මේ ළමයි එහෙම තමයි. තනියමද ආවේ? ආව නම් එක්කෙනෙක් එක්කන් එන්න. මිඩ්වයිෆ් ආවේ නැද්ද? ගෙන්න ගන්න.” As first-time parents who were genuinely worried about our newborn, we found these comments upsetting. I explained that the baby’s mother had accompanied us and that I had just taken her outside the room. The doctor told us that there was nothing wrong with our baby and that the issue was related to the feeding technique. She demonstrated the correct way to feed the baby, and we appreciated that guidance. However, because our baby continued to show the same symptoms, we sought a second opinion later that day from a pediatrician at Hemas Hospital. After examining our baby, the pediatrician recommended further tests and identified the underlying medical issue. Based on our personal experience, we were disappointed with this consultation. As new parents, we were looking for reassurance and a thorough assessment of our newborn’s condition. While this was only our experience and others may have different experiences, we would not personally choose this doctor a for our child’s care.”
“I had a very disappearing experience with Dr. Zarook Shahabdeeen. In my experience, he does not treat patients with the care and concern they deserve. He often becomes angry and raises his voice instead of listening to patients respectfully. He prescribed a medication for my father that was not suitable for his condition. We informed him of our concerns, and he later acknowledged that the medication could cause the side effects we had mentioned. This made us question the level of care and attention given to my father's treatment. Doctors have a responsibility to treat their patients with compassion, respect, and professionalism. I believe incidents like this should be taken seriously and reviewed by the appropriate authorities to ensure patients receive safe and proper medical care. If someone ask me about Dr zarook shahabdeeen I will definitely say that he is the very bad doctor I have ever met in my life”
“I had a very disappointing consultation with Dr. Asela Amarasiri. The most concerning part of my experience was during the ultrasound examination. Throughout the scan, he rested his elbow on my thigh for an extended period. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and no explanation was given or consideration shown for my personal space. He also appeared unwilling to consider what I was saying, and came across as dismissive and very rigid in his views rather than engaging in a proper discussion. The last time my mother consulted him his comments towards Muslims were inappropriate asking why she needed to consult when she has her "God". Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard, disrespected, and uncomfortable. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this doctor, especially to women who value respectful communication and feeling safe during intimate examinations.”
“Professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate.Highly recommended.”
“Don’t waste your time or money. The session lasted only 10-15 minutes, and she simply asked me to listen to the "Om" sound and watch a YouTube video. In my experience, she didn't come across as an experienced professional-she has the qualifications, but the consultation itself wasn't what I expected.”
“One of the best pediatricians in Sri Lanka. Dr. Rohitha Seneviratne takes the time to ask the right questions, carefully understand the baby's condition, and explain everything clearly to the parents. He also provides detailed explanations about each vaccine, its purpose, and why it is important, which gives parents a lot of confidence. We initially consulted another pediatrician, who prescribed vitamin drops for our one-month-old baby. Wanting a second opinion, we visited Dr. Rohitha Seneviratne. After evaluating our baby, he advised us to discontinue the vitamin drops, explaining that they were not necessary at that stage, and instead recommended probiotics to support digestion. We truly appreciated his approach and the time he took to explain the reasoning behind his recommendations. What stands out the most is his calm, patient, and compassionate nature. He never rushes consultations, listens carefully to parents' concerns, and always makes us feel comfortable asking questions. It's also evident that he prioritizes the well-being of his patients over unnecessary treatments or expenses, which is something we value greatly. Thank you, Doctor, for your exceptional care and dedication. We feel fortunate to have you looking after our little one.”
“why I recommend, +she's kind +will give you more time and will listen to you than other psychiatrist ( I personally went) +not in a hurry +she put notes behind your prescription, so next time you came she knows the points well overall i felt like i went for both a psychologist and psychiatrist at same time. i went for her for 2 different times 2 cases (2022 and 2024) both times she helped me a lot. Note - this just my personal exp”
“Good doctors for kids”
“I want to contact doctor Harindra karunathilake. Emergency”
“Malkanthi madam suggested eye therapy over immediate surgery for my youngest child and after nearly 2 years of consistent practice under her guidance, my kid managed to develop his vision and we were out of the zone where surgery was needed. Very grateful for her practice. She aways prioritise kids safety and needs like a kid of her own.”
“I am a tourist staying at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo requiring urgent medical care. Dr. Chandana Galappaththi arrived within the hour with a very pleasant & calming personality. He quickly assessed & prescribed medication and had the pharmacy deliver to the hotel. I was very impressed & grateful for this very efficient and worry free experience.”
“My wife was suffering from severe depression due to loosing both her parents in such a short time. We consulted this doctor based on a recommendation, however our experience with her was absolutely terrible. First her channeling fees are absurd, it cost 7500 at asiri. She had zero sense of punctuality, she arrived at 7.30pm for an appointment that was supposed to be at 5.45pm. She was totally in a world of her own during the consultation and was on her phone throughout the entire session, just dribbling some notes. She gave us medicine within 5 mins, I highly doubt if she even properly diagnosed the issue. We reluctantly had to consult and alternative psychiatrist since we were not sure if this doctor even prescribed proper medication.”
“This woman has no sense of humor or compassion. She treated my mother very badly. I feel like her mother and father was taught only knowledge but not kindness or humanity. No one deserves to be treated this way. One day, she may understand the pain she has caused others. I am deeply hurt and disappointed by her behavior. If you want to Channel here First check your heart beacuse of her shouting bload preasure will rise.”
“Don't ever channel this devil woman She taught from our tax money and treat innocent women who channel herlike a witch”
“He is so hurry to move on to the next patient. Didn’t event carefully listened and examined my baby. What he recommended was funny. Waste of money”
“Dr Pravin Wijesinghe is a rare human being. I took my aunt to him. She was warded under his supervision at Lanka Hospitals. He was extremely attentive and sensitive to her illness and handled every situation perfectly. He was also readily available in times of crisis and went far beyond what was required of him. I have the utmost respect for Dr Pravin both as a professional and as a humanbeing. There aren't many of his breed in his profession. I would have absolutley no hesitation in recommending him. May God bless him.”
“I mean Prof Shehan Silva, the physician. He did not handle my mother's case well, and she's still suffering the consequences. I would say be careful.”
“I took my parents to Dr Bandula Wijesiriwardena for a very long time. He's one of the best consultant physicians and is spot on with diagnosis. The only downside is that it's extremely difficult to get through to him in a crisis as one has to go through his nursing desk, and they are not very sensitive to the needs of the patient. Apart from this, I I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a consultant physician.”
“I have been taking my mother Dr. Harsha Sathischandra since 2023. He has always been extremely understanding, accommodative, contactable in crisis situations, and has seen her through some extremely difficult situations including a stroke. She returned home with no paralysis and no tubes. She is 88 and not in perfect health but he helps maintain balance and see that she is as comfortable as possible. While I believe that my God intervened in her healing many times over, I have the utmost regard for Dr Harsha and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy consultant physician.”
“I am very disappointed with my experience. The doctor did not properly listen to my concerns and did not examine my skin carefully. She quickly suggested micropeeling without understanding my situation. I clearly explained that I work in a marine environment and cannot properly care for my skin during the healing period after such a procedure. Despite this, she continued to insist on micropeeling and even suggested I visit her private clinic for treatment. After I refused, she wrote a prescription without properly assessing my skin. I followed the prescribed treatment for one month, and my skin became much worse. I developed many painful pimples, and my overall skin condition was damaged. Later, I researched the products and found that they may not have been suitable for my skin type. This has been a very upsetting experience for me, and I feel very sad because my skin has worsened and recovery will take time.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Chathuranga Gunarathne and would not recommend undergoing surgery with him. I visited Southern Lanka Hospital on 25 April due to a severely infected ingrown toenail. The pain was extreme, walking was difficult, and the area was swollen and bleeding. After a long wait for the doctor to arrive, I was examined briefly and was told that surgery was the only solution. Based on that advice, I agreed to the procedure and it done. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication, empathy, and follow-up care. Whenever I asked questions about my condition or recovery, I felt as though my concerns were being treated as unimportant or silly. Instead of listening carefully and addressing my questions directly, the doctor often gave brief answers that avoided the actual concern I was raising. I never felt that he truly understood the difficulties I was facing as a patient who was in pain and unable to walk properly. Before the surgery, he told that the wound would heal within a couple of days and I would be able to walk normally. However, that was far from my actual experience. Even after consistent 3 weeks follow-up appointments , the wound continued to bleed and did not heal properly. During these visits, there was persistent bleeding, excessive tissue growth around the nail area, and ongoing discomfort, yet doctor was repeatedly told that everything was fine. Different medications were prescribed, but there was no clear explanation of the situation. Despite my repeated concerns, I did not feel that the situation was investigated seriously. Eventually, the doctor was told that I did not need to come again. After struggling for over a month, I sought a second opinion from another doctor. The new doctor immediately identified signs of infection and clearly explained why the wound was not healing. The difference in communication, attention, and professionalism was significant. “Don’t waste your money. She couldn’t be bothered listening to me, would ask a question then interrupt me while I tried to answer, then told me to leave the room and get my mother in. I’m a 26 year old woman, why on earth does she need my mother?!. Asked the most basic textbook questions that didn’t even matter to my situation, looked confused when I used medical terms, and clearly didn’t believe a single word I said. Ridiculous. Probably got her qualifications from a cereal box.”
