Dr. R. AJANTHAN

Dr Ajanthan is the best Peadiatrician I have ever seen. My daughter was diagnosed for ADEM (Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis) when she was 6 months old. She was having fever on and off and she showed several neurological conditions such as tilt head and squint eyes suddenly. we took her to many doctors (4 renowned pediatricians and we showed her to a pediatric ENT and to an Orthopidic surgeon as well) but all of them said it was just a normal fever and even I took her to Ninewells and asked them to admit her, since she was not well after taking her to all the doctors and it was well passed a week started showing symptoms(Nothing on the blood reports) Then I took her to our savior (Dr. Ajanthan) and told him everything we observed during the week, he listened to us carefully and then he suspected that she might having ADEM(even though it's quite rare to have it on 6 months aged child) and he asked us to admit her immediately. Then he ran tests and he personally requested the support from his colleague (Prof. Jithangi K Wanigasinghe - Pediatric Neurologist) they diagnosed and confirmed. Dr. Ajanthan went above and beyond to get the necessary treatments for my child since she was admitted at Durdance they didn't have the right equipments to run a MRI to a 6 months old child. But Dr. Ajanthan called the Hospital management personally and arranged everything at Durdance. I'm truly thankful for Dr Ajanthan without him my daughters conditions will be unnoticed until it shows serious symptoms. I'm highly recommending him.
